Silver River State ParkSilver River has almost 15 miles of biking and hiking trails meandering through a variety of different habitats. From wetland and swamp, to oak hammock and pine forest. We came to this park right after we went to Silver Springs so we were a little tired but we wanted to check it out. The fee was $6 which we paid just to go for an hour but it goes toward the park so we didn’t mind. There were 3 different trails we could walk but since it was getting dark we took the 1 mile trail. It felt like a walk through a scary park, the sun was going down and the trees were crooked, towering over us. Then right at the very end of the trail, we saw 1 lone tiny patch of bright green grass. Very eerie.. |
